Telice, present in Cross Rail Project
Telice technology is present in London Cross Rail Project, a 118-kilometre (73-mile) railway line under development in London and the home counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Essex. The central section and a large portion of the line, between Paddington in central London and Abbey Wood in the south-east, are due to open in December 2018. The western section beyond Paddington, to Reading in Berkshire and Heathrow Airport, is due to enter operation in December 2019. Part of the eastern section, between Liverpool Street and Shenfield in Essex, will be connected to the central route through central London to Paddington in May 2019.
Works consist on the deployment of tIUCS (Telice Intelligent Underground Communications and Safety) as a temporary safety and communications system in the Crosrrail Eastern Running Tunnels contract (Dragados Sisk JV) wich covers perforation works of 21 kilometres (13 miles) of tunnels with 4 tunneling machines, and ind C610 Crossrail Systemwide Principal (Alstom TSO Costain JV) since 2015. Works include the deployment of more than 40 kilometres (24,8 miles), insulated conducted rails for trains power supply, and ventillation and drainage systems in 42 kilometres (26 miles) of tunnels.
